Honestly, I totally get why people type Usagi as an ESFJ—she’s kind, loves her friends, and has that high energy. But we have to remember that "being nice" isn't a personality type. If you look at her actual brain wiring, she’s not a social manager (Fe); she’s a dreamer driven by Ne and a very stubborn, personal moral code (Fi). ​First of all, she lives in her own head. She’s a habitual daydreamer, always looking at "what could be" instead of "what is." That’s classic Ne. If she were an ESFJ, she’d have some handle on routines or practical details because of Si, but she’s the literal queen of being late and failing at anything that needs a schedule. Even her "housewife" dream is just a romanticized fantasy—she likes the vibe, but she’s terrible at the actual domestic chores. ​The big deal-breaker for me is Fi vs Fe. ESFJs prioritize group expectations, but Usagi doesn't. Think about her battle with Galaxia. While everyone else was ready to do their "duty" as soldiers, Usagi refused. She didn’t care about the "rules" of war or social harmony; she chose mercy because her internal values told her love was the only way. That’s a radical, individualistic act of conviction, not "group-think." ​Also, her growth arc is very ENFP. She starts as a chaotic mess and only develops that "Te-snap" (becoming decisive and directive) when the stakes are high.
