And I thought that the world was seeing me thru the CCTV and I realized, that is where I belong." yeah damn right Bret is a heart type as he has a passion to shine, but unlike E3, he doesn't look at himself from the lens of others and instead wants others to see him from his own, that he's amazing, if not, the best. He's not concerned about your opinion stating he's anything other than that since he's already convinced of his own greatness, and so his mission is to seduce you into changing your mind. It's a seduction turned into a conquest as opposed to the strategy of an E3 which is more akin to a chameleon in order to seduce. Thus, we can say that an E2 is a force of nature while an E3 is an object of influence regardless if they think otherwise. Why is this so? Well, the mental preoccupation, aka fixation, of an E2 is false-abundance whereas an E3's is vanity: false-abundance causes the E2 to have a grandiose image of themselves which gives them the idea that they're unstoppable and they're keen on sharing themselves to the world as they are a gift from God, or so they are inclined to believe. In an attempt to make others mirror this image back to them, they tend to be more theatrical than E3 in seducing people for they aim to touch their hearts which feeds their pride. This is what Ichazo originally interpreted as ego-flattery which is now changed into false-abundance by Naranjo (or his students, not sure bout this little detail, pls do confirm for me as I'm too lazy to check kthx~). As a result of this grandiose image of themselves, they directly seek attention. To please or provoke others, anything that would get them noticed will be used as a strategy to seduce, making them the most emotional type alongside E4s. However, E2s are the exteriorized version of hysteria, making them the most visibly emotional. Thus, the theatrical form of seduction. Hence, blessing them with the trait of assertiveness which contributes to them being a force of nature. Of course, this too is strategic. Despite it not being as chameleonic as E3, it uses repression as a coping mechanism in order to keep other's love for them. For example, he may repress his needs or even refuse to express anger as that would make others dislike them. On the other hand, vanity gives E3 a robotic feel since they are more inclined to conform to how society defines success, which they use to determine their worth. Thus, they monitor everything about themselves—their words, their clothes, their postures, etc. All of these are carefully crafted in order to appeal to the masses, making them controlled. Hence, the chameleon-like features which makes them an object of influence. Now, they can look similar to E2 in a way that they have a strong influence towards their environment, but this is only a costume which they wear like going to a party because it's the motif, it's what is expected of them in a certain scenario, which circles back to being an object of influence. Their coping mechanism is identification after all, an unconscious adoption of someone else's attributes which provides them the image they want to sell. Well, we can clearly see based on this which one fits Bretman best: E2. By subtype, I'd go with SO2 due to the fact that his conquest is aimed at a larger audience. Plus, he can be similar to an E7 in a way that jumps from one thing to another, whatever will give him the most pleasure. This is what E2 and E7 have in common: hedonism. While E7's self-indulgence revolves around idealism for a better world in which pain is absent, E2's form of self-indulgence is related to relationships: it's more about the attention he receives from the crowd. Another difference between these two is that E2 is part of the heart triad while E7 is part of the head triad. Meaning, E2 operates from the heart body while E7 from the mental realm. As I mentioned, E2s use their theatrical demeanor in order to inspire or rile up others, which serves as their strategy to seduce; E7s in comparison use their gift for words in order to seduce, tricking them from an intellectual standpoint to get what they want and get away with it. I don't see an ounce of this which is charlatanism in Bretman tbh. What you see is hedonism which you automatically attribute to E7, as well as the visions he has which is actually not the idealism of E7, but an ambition of E2 for conquest. Hence, SO2.
