Fe>Fi: The main goal of the movie under the surface was him trying to find out more about who he was, and his main way of going about that was by using his Ne, fueled by Fe, to come up with the idea of roleplaying as the perfectly curated date for whoever. His main way of trying to find out who he is was by changing himself for others. Si>Se: His materialistic goals of trying to get the hottest girl, the fastest car, and, above all else, the best university were motivated by him thinking that these are things that are looked well upon and generally thought of as good (Si traditions + Fe need for approval). Ne>Ni: His Ne is what helped him come up with creative ideas for wooing the girls in his dates in special ways and playing his roles as their dates well. He also shows a lack of Ni, as he never really thought about what he’d do in his life beyond attaining the societally approved university, showing his lack of truly planning his future, as he never planned in such big parts as his major or his job or anything. Ti>Te: This is quite weak. He shows it in his thorough research before going in to any date or meeting, wanting to know everything about the topics they like so he can be liked, but this could also be attributed to Te as it’s simply what’s going to work. While I would say he could either be an ESFJ or an ENTP, the fact that his Fe is much stronger and prevalent than his Ne and that his Ti is quite weak leads me to believe that he is an ESFJ.
