My INTP 5w4 hero in many ways. Can’t really see any other type for him after watching this video, especially at around 4 minutes when he starts explaining his songwriting process. Staring at the ground and barely making eye contact, equating his songwriting process with a fish tank where each fish is a potential song, and saying that he basically flies by the seat of his pants during the songwriting process. Essentially the abstractions of Ne, the detail of Ti-Si, and inferior Fe all together at once. That video where he gives a tour of his house is also pretty awkward at points too. Definitely in an endearing way, but he has that slightly socially maladjusted vibe of an INTP. I could also site loads of lyrics that seem like they could only be the thoughts of an INTP, but those aren’t always that telling about a person’s type in real life. The only other type I could ever see for him is INFP, but only because of the shared Ne-Si and his unusually sensitive lyrical content. Isaac Kristofer Brock (born July 9, 1975) is the lead singer, guitarist, banjoist, and songwriter for the American indie rock band Modest Mouse, as well as his side project band, Ugly Casanova. As a songwriter he is noted for wordplay and frequent use of metaphors, philosophical lyrics, themes of oppressive rural lifestyles, and certain phrases and sayings commonly used in the early to mid-20th century and in blue collarenvironments.
