Very much seems like an ENFJ 2w1, the dominant feeling extraversion is very much on show for the entire movie with the function itself being responsible for the archetype of the supportive parent. He definitely has the soft speech and demeanour of a dominant feeler and to clarify the potential argument of him being an introverted feeler type, I would compare him to Lester Burnham who is an introverted feeler in a very similar scenario, if you watch him all of his emotions are wrapped up in him self which is what creates his isolation from his family, Mike is the complete opposite as in every single scene of the film his emotions are wrapped up with his daughter emotions. From there it is between ENFJ or ESFJ, To figure that out the campfire scene is a really good indication of introverted intuition, as it shows his ability to cut through all the different aspects of teen angst and find the deeper meaning at the core of it all, being her low self esteem, this is almost the super power of the Fe + Ni combination, being able to get to the core of someone's being and communicate it to them which is why psychologists often are INFJs and ENFJs. BTW: Kayla and Mike as father and daughter share the exact same mbti and enneagram as my father and I (INFJ 4w5, ENFJ 2w1) making their dynamic something that I am vividly familiar with.
