Extravert- "I just love meeting people, I love friendships, I love dinner parties and being with people. That's what i enjoy." Si- "Looking back on it now, I think both things were true. It was dreary, monotonous work but there was routine. You clocked on for your shift, then off for tea, off for lunch and off to go home. There was structure. Life was simple. Innocent. One of the problems with the rock business is that you never know what's going to come through the letterbox next. Those few teenage years in the factory were the last time in a long time that anything in my life was remotely predictable" Si- "It took me ten years to decorate Holmshurst. We were there in rubber gloves and boiler suits, sweating are bollocks off. I loved almost every minute of it. It was a straightforward, repetitive job, the opposite of anything to do with The Who". Si and anti Se- "Holmshurst is a very special house and it grounded me. It was built for a Puritan. There's nothing fancy about it. It's a simple functional place, which suits me. I'm not a Puritan but I do like to work. I do like things to be functional, on the level." Functional- "designed to be practical and useful, rather than attractive." Edit- He may actually be a Te heavy ENFP. He talks in quite an abstract way, often using analogies and metaphors-28.01-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTr53arD0yY 3.35- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyfaC-teJ0M His Fi also seems higher- "What made you get in to fish farming"?- "Hahaha! I wanted to learn bout the science of it, because I've always been into the land, and looking at the future problems with our food production, and fish farming in the days I got involved with it, was in the infancy of the industry, polluting our rivers and things like that, and I wanted to learn about the science of it and learn how we could produce good fish and tidy things up. I learnt an awful lot, and though I'm not in it anymore since I achieved what i wanted to do, all the farms I owned are now successful businesses. And I'm very proud of what i did there, and I'm proud of them for keeping the standards going. We pulled it up by the bootlaces. And I think the state of our oceans, the conditions of our oceans, isn't talked about enough, and the protection of our fisheries aren't talked about enough. And well-managed fish farms provide a lot of solutions to the problems that the next generation of people will be facing if the population continues the way it has." "I live 50 miles from London and we've got some of the highest levels of teenage and childhood poverty in the country. It's disgusting. Just because it's a rural area, it gets forgotten." I would say those are definitely his functions, so either ESTJ or ENFP. "You know, I was a school rebel. Whatever they said do, I didn't do. I was totally anti-everything."https://www.psychologyjunkie.com/2021/08/24/the-most-to-least-rebellious-myers-briggs-personality-types/ "Inferior Si – Resistance to conformity." ENFPs and ENTPs lead with dominant extroverted intuition – which means that their inferior function is introverted sensing. In the inferior position – prior to maturation – Si manifests as a resistance to ‘settling down’ and obeying the rules of society without thoroughly analyzing those rules for themselves. "ENFPs and ENTPs can often be spotted – particularly when they’re young – by their aversion to conformity and their desire to question absolutely everything before agreeing to or deciding upon any of it. They may seek out nontraditional life paths, openly explore and discuss taboo topics, and generally display a keen interest in going against the grain." *Note: The Ne-dominant type’s resistance to conformity may look similar to the Se-dominant type’s – but it is based on different reasoning. Whereas the Se-dominant type often resists conformity because they enjoy the constant stimulation of new experiences, the Ne-dominant type is more likely to resist conformity on principle." "I think I struggled more with the conformity than the actual education. I was more rebellious than my cousins. I hated being told what to do." "That was the trouble with school. I could focus on something if I wanted to. I could do anything if I wanted to, but the system didn't allow any latitude (Not an STJ). You had to sit still in class. You had to follow their stupid rules. You had to do what they wanted you to do when they wanted. I couldn't do any of those things." Ne-"I wanted to be in a band that shared ideas and were in it together." Fi- "I've never wanted to be anyone other than who I am."
