i've been wandering in the shadows for long and i do understand every take ive read so far but i'd like to make my contribution. i personally cant see any Fe, at like all. i can understand why his actual selflessness may make him look like a Fe user, but i think he def uses Fi. you can see examples of this in chapters 33 or 96 (among many others). (ch.33), he tells gilbert he's doing everything for his sake, mostly because he knows it pisses him off and topic of selfishness in trying to justify oneself with others its a common message. (ch.96), when gil truly learns, however, about his true intentions and tries to warn his brother that it would not make him happy, at all, he decides to ignore him, because vincent /believes/ thats best for everyone (erasing his own existence to avoid the suffering of the timeline the tragedy of sablier has led to), thus processing emotions and thoughts through his own criteria and moral compass. (ch.61), he's using his own judgement towards the duke deciding the fate he truly deserves according to his own beliefs. he does not care about what other people will think about his decision, yet he will be /affected/ by the pain he can afflict on others, thus feeding his own selfloathing and becoming more convinced of his goals. (ch.104), he even seeks for redemption until the end. because the abuse he's faced has led him to believe he should not have been there and that his own existence screwed up everything, making him seek for a way of forgiveness for his actions, as a way of letting go of the past; he even confirms, by the end, he's doing it for his own benefit and self, becoming at ease with himself by accepting and embracing his motivations and interests. vincent tries to reject his own filter so hard it only makes his condition worse, neglecting a self judgement he unconciously uses a lot and he can't actually escape from.
