goyou is a self-preservation 5. they lack the outer tension and "Anger" of e1. they don't display resentment or undertones of morally tinted Injustice that drives their 'job' or duty as a virus buster, souring their view with perfectionistic expectations toward their surroundings and themself. they are steadfast and violent, but that's moreso because they are an antivirus program. ti ego -- quite literally their program. what isn't in their program is the introspection and final breaking out of their programming in the true ending (but also their very endearing inner dilemma when they feel sorrow for the first time in the bad ending; a sorrow they can't explain and won't ever resolve with agape gone). goyou's character isn't based around upholding the rules as much as it originates from there. retentiveness. a key word for both the e5 and goyou. goyou's insensitivity to agape's affection until the very end is, just like an e5, for holding onto satisfying their emotional needs rationally (goyou's job). e5 and e8 are the most rejective of external love and getting their needs met by relying on others. to know goyou was installed for a purpose and fulfilling that is enough for them. quite a lot about the e5 is circular and basically comes down to a sensitive character who is especially vulnerable to pain and thus pathologically detaches from emotions as a whole. they hold on to what little they have, get used to less than they'd like because they hope to build resilience, and avoid deprivation by the way of self-sufficiency. if they don't detach, they fear to be hurt in ways they can't recover from. there's a timidity to e5 it wants to compensate for with knowledge (of the world) and self-containment, self-restraint. much of the personal giving up is not only to lower own expectations and soften Worldly disappointment but also resignation (over-docility, interestingly described by naranjo as a strong repressed love need) and full knowledge about their own weaknesses and shortcomings, similar to e4. this gets stronger with se polr, but goyou is a good example for LSI. the most outward differentiation between the antivirus e1 front of goyou and their 5w4 typing is the structural feelinglessness of e5 -> "[...] a loss of awareness of feelings and even an interference with the generation of feeling, which results from the avoidance of expression and action. [...] while ennea-type I is aversive to pleasure, ennea-type V simply appears as having a diminished capacity to experience it." this is lighter in goyou who enjoys to get their questions answered and to accumulate knowledge, who has a 4 wing and fix. they still resonate with their inner world and experience cherished concepts intimately that they form a connection with through the familiar desktop and agape's explanations. it's indulgences and mental stimulation until the inevitable end to things, "how things are," but with an open window for things to catch their interest. "Please, teach me about yourself too, Agape." i won't go into the traits of demandingness, dominance, over-control and the other very action-oriented traits of e1 (gut triad), because even sp1 doesn't quite fit goyou unless one only chooses to just look at them being an antivirus, which would be a very flat interpretation. e5 already has a perfectionistic flavour to it, has guilt and a high-superego in its structure. the major point with those is that they're purely inward; goyou lacks the externalisation and projection of said perfectionism and super-ego to come closer to core 1. as long as they fulfill their duties, they're far from interested what structurally happens (and not even fulfilling the duties stays important in the true ending).
