I use to believe that as an INTP myself, she had to be neurotic to be Ne auxiliary. I’m kinda realizing my bias now. Here is why I’m changing my answer: Ti: As Riley’s boredom/apathy/indifference/sarcasm she has her own set of reasoning and techniques. While her coworkers do extra work standing at the console, she has figured it’s easier to just use an app like a Ti user would and she has figured making Riley give out indifferent or sarcastic responses can saved her from humiliation and trouble. She is shown to point out what is wrong Anxiety’s plans “aren’t we already good at hockey” “how do we score three goals”. Ne/Si instead of Se/Ni: People are saying she has Se for being bored and wanting new experiences and Ni for coming up with the pocket thing. Ni would be if she was obsessed with the future like Anxiety or came up with vague plans like Joy. Ne: Her Ne made her find a solution instead of identifying a problem. Her Ti and Ne work together to come up with what for Riley to say to get into the group. Si comes, not necessarily from strong nostalgia, but physical habit of laying on the couch and using the phone as a comfort object. Fe: while not worried about pleasing her friends or Riley’s old friends, her making Riley avoid awkwardness comes from keeping her life peaceful and lacking too much drama when it can be avoided. I’m open to being wrong. I just really love the fact that this is an ever changing debate.
