I had my doubts at first, mostly because you can easily confuse Ti and Ni with Fi (introverted, convergent, autonomous functions), but with the last episodes I think a FiNeSiTe stack makes perfect sense for him. He is an example of the fact that Fi is a judging function more than just a feeling one. Emotions are certainly heavily involved in his thought process (especially considering his obvious past trauma), but those feelings are used to make judgments about situations, people, and himself. A strong internal compass of values and beliefs is what Shun uses in his relationship with Dai, distinctly. He evaluates whether Dai aligns with that compass, before really believing they can date. Si acts as an internal benchmark for his Fi, he compares the present to past experiences and relationships to assess validity, all of this in light of the future. The future is something he is very worried about, which makes sense for auxiliary Ne (and for other psychological reasons related to his past), because it's about creating a future that fits with his dominant Fi. This internal process involves reflection, introspection. He is quick when it is about being truthful to what he feels ("I don't wanna write an anonymous note because no one is my type, I did not raise my hand because l felt tired, I don't have a wish even if I won the race"...) but catching what the other person gathers / receives from it, that tends to happen secondarily for him, when he can ponder and weigh in all the variables. Dai's FeNi, instead, intuits and adapts to Shun's emotional and mental state immediately, he's more instinctively attuned to the impact something has on others on the outside world. [edit after watching episode 9: I can't believe he was able to guess Shun got annoyed about a t-shirt he had offered 24 hours before lmao]. Dai has the cognitive stack that allows him to have the correct responses and timings to accomodate Shun's (I bet you all know there's a lot of talk about ENFJs being INFPs' most natural companions...). I'm sure someone could argue that he is simply an "unhealthy INFJ", but, think about it: can you see Shun having a Fe preferring behavior if he were super healthy? I can't. I believe the INFP type encompasses well his true personality.
