In this essay I will- jk. Like be fr who's gonna care about this guy's typology. Clearly I do since I'm writing this essay. I blame my friend Amber. This is my first and probably last ever comment on someone's page. Here's why he is NOT core 3. Whatever they think society admires, they become it. Whatever their lover expects from them, they perform it. That's the thing: while Sosuke is success and achievement driven, he is foremost NOT a shapeshifter to society. The 3 blind spot is their identity; their lack of it. Sosuke is the opposite of that. He is not flexible and has a strong personality and identity. He does not put up a "false face" nor does he care about how he presents himself on a large scale. The 3's basic desire is to feel worthy, accepted, and desirable, which are all things I find difficult to see in Sosuke. Now, turn to 8. Their fear is being controlled and their blind spot being their own vulnerability. Keyword: Control. Even Gaku reiterates the word. Sousuke is all about power and control (cue Marina). 8s have a desperate need to feel in control over their possessions and family members. In VIBRATO EP2 there's a major misunderstanding between TRIGGER and Sousuke where he wanted to raise a charity for a school he used to go to and expressed it in a very "I don't want to be vulnerable" constipated way. This led to TRIGGER mistaking his intentions and a miscommunication. Actually, this entire thing is just Sousuke being emotionally constipated. Another moment is in 2nd Anniversary, where he, dare I say, "shyly" tells TRIGGER that he'll take them out on a meal as their reward. "Intensity: toughness, being confrontational, intimidating, ruthlessness, and being callous are typical for 8s. They reject weakness, sentimentality, pity, and especially fear. The 8 denies their fears and embraces the feeling of power generated by assertiveness." From Gaku's Card, 16 Idol Album, we're taken back to when Gaku was just a child. In part 2 of the card, it shows that Gaku wants to play softball with him. Sousuke says its a waste of time, however when Gaku said that he must have sucked at playing and that's the reason why he doesn't want to play with him, he gets offended and abrasive. In the end Sousuke was forced to show that he in fact, did not suck at softball. Bro got mind-gamed by a kid because he could not handle sucking at something. Now, unto why SP8.
