Philosophy is a heavily Ti-oriented study that focuses on internal consistency. But it is also a field that asks people to ask questions, and to further fine-tune the consistency of that system based on those questions. It is not really focused on practicality (I would argue philosophy is not all that practical in most cases), and is instead focused on determining which philosophy is the strongest based on how coherent it is across a variety of contexts. This best suites the abilities of the LII. These are people that greatly value having a consistent system/principle in which to interpret the world (Ti), and then Ne creative is used to explore every avenue of the structure.
