Was debating between INFJ and ENFJ, but INFJ makes a bit more sense. I don't believe thinking is his weak point, which it would be if ENFJ. I think sensing is his weak point, hence his controversy. The weak sensors: INFJ, INTJ, ENFP, and ENTP, these types are the most likely to be controversial. This is because they don't read the room well. It is not a lack of feeling, contrary to what some may believe, it's a lack of sense. In fact they usually feel strongly and that is why they go against the grain. ENFJ and ESFP are less likely to rock the boat. Gibson clearly has strong Fe which comes out as his romanticism and religious tones of his works. His Ni comes out in grand themes in films like Braveheart and Apocalypto; these themes usually speak of widespread spiritual civilizational conflict. Something so wide in scale I would be surprised if he wasn't a high Ni user.

Mel Colmcille Gerard Gibson (born January 3, 1956) is an American/Australian actor and filmmaker. He is best known for his action hero roles, namely his breakout role as Max Rockatansky in the first three films in the Mad Max post-apocalyptic action series, and as Martin Riggs in the Lethal Weapon buddy cop film series. Gibson was born in Peekskill, New York. He moved with his parents to Sydney, Australia, when he was 12 years old, and studied acting at NIDA. Gibson produced, directed, and starred in the epic historical drama film Braveheart (1995), for which he won the Golden Globe Award and Academy Award for Best Director, along with the Academy Award for Best Picture. He later directed and produced the financially successful, and controversial, biblical drama film The Passion of the Christ (2004). He received further critical notice for his directorial work of the action-adventure film Apocalypto (2006), which is set in Mesoamerica during the early 16th century.
