Mike vs Walt is one of the best ISTJ vs INTJ comparisons ever Mike's Si is very apparent, he's way better at logistics and details, compared to Walter (and Gus) who's better at long term planning. For example, when Jesse told him that the barrels were tagged, Mike, using his Si, quickly "figures out" that Lydia tagged them herself. When asking Walt for his opinion, he simply goes "The methlymine keeps flowing no matter what". His Ni makes him focus on the big picture, which is to have enough ingredients to cook. After threatening Lydia to call Hank, the Si dom immediately figures out the logistics that will happen in the DEA, "Hank will think someone tagged the barrels to pull off a heist, therefore he's gonna send men to..." Walt, knowing he's not gonna get the methlymine, agrees to kill Lydia. But when Lydia offers a new plan to get more methlymine, Mike still doesn't want to work with a " time bomb" like Lydia, while the INTJ is willing to take the risk. Mike is more street smart, Walt is capable of doing things that require high intelligence, but also does a lot of basic things in a stupid way, like carrying a barrel instead of rolling it. Something an Si dom would never do Mike's inferior Ne means he's also not as good at improvising and "out of the box" thinking, while Walt is really good at this. Walt has displayed his improvisation skills many times, and came up with a lot of out of the box ideas, like poisoning Brock or working with Hector. Mike on the other hand is garbage at this. He's never come up with an inquisitive idea. His plans are always "what they should do" instead of "what they can do", like trading with Declan, or not working with Walt. When they couldn't come up with an idea to rob the train without killing anyone, Mike simply suggests to go back to the old plan, and make less money. It was Jesse that came up with an idea to pull off the train heist without anyone knowing. When figuring out what to do with the evidence in Gus's labtop which was at the police station, Mike couldn't come up with a single idea, while Walt keeps brainstorming and throwing out ideas (bomb the police station, make a device and fake it as evidence so it goes into the police evidence room). Again it was Jesse that came up with the "MAGNETS B1TCH!" plan. Mike is also a lot safer and careful, managing to stay in the game for such a long time. It was only Walt's unpredictability that lead to his demise. Walt on the other hand is more ambitious and willing to take risks, blowing up his opportunities many times and eventually leading to his downfall. Mike is willing to retire for 5 million dollars while Walt is determined to build his empire. The ISTJ simply wants to make enough money for his family, while the INTJ is ego-driven and keeps aiming higher and higher. They both have tert Fi, they care about their family and Jesse (yes Walt cares about Jesse) but I think Walt is unarguably the more evil and ruthless of the two
