"Che tipo di personalità è Marilla Cuthbert? Marilla Cuthbert è un tipo di personalità ISTJ in mbti, 1w9 - sp/so - 162 in enneagram, in big 5, in socionics."
ISTJ: Marilla is steadfast and down to earth in comparison with Anne’s wild “flights of fancy.” She sees no need for “frippery” or anything that isn’t practical, and tries (largely without success) to ground Anne in common sense and attentiveness to the task at hand. She attends to their immediate needs, and has no interest in adopting “new” ideas. Marilla prefers to hold on to things that are concrete, proven, and lasting – the important things in life such as family, faith, and friendship. On occasion, her own experiences influence her advice to Anne – her relationship and its sad conclusion with Gilbert’s father encourages her to tell Anne not to make the same mistakes. She keeps her house well tended and is good at knowing what needs to be done and doing it. Her initial decision to send Anne back to the orphanage is built of practicality – they need help around the farm, and this talkative redhead can’t help Matthew where he needs it most. Marilla is organized and straightforward in her speech, sometimes to the point of bluntness. She is comfortable issuing orders (particularly for Matthew to not interfere with raising Anne), and not swayed by emotional decisions. However, though she doesn’t show it on the outside, Marilla has a rich depth of emotion that in time, develops into a profound adoration for Anne. She has strong values, which reinforce her beliefs on what is “good” or “bad” behavior. Though she isn’t comfortable expressing how much Anne means to her until after Matthew’s death, or even “crying with” Anne, Marilla loves them both very much and expresses how proud she is of “their girl.” Since she sees no need for fuss or change, Marilla is the last person to adopt “new” ideas (women in politics, puffed sleeves, etc) and is quite resistant to Anne’s imagination spinning wild stories. But she is also attentive to others and often knows what they want, without them confessing to it. She is somewhat fearful of the future but also, with Anne’s help, comes to a place where she is comfortable with whatever happens. 1w9: Marilla is very stern and principled, and at first objects to Anne because she’s not a boy, but then feels it would be morally wrong to leave her with a woman she dislikes, whom she knows would treat her like a slave (“I wouldn’t leave a dog I liked with that woman!”). She and Anne cross swords many times, whenever Anne is rude, disobedient, lies to conceal her mistakes, or flies into a temper and insults her friends. At one point, Marilla becomes so angry about her brooch going missing, she decides to send Anne back to the orphanage unless she explains herself, apologizes, or tells her where to find the brooch. She insists Anne behave herself and make up with Rachel Lynde, but also lectures her friend about being rude and reactive. Her 9 wing does not like upheaval in her life, and finds Anne’s constant chatter and melodrama taxing, though over time she comes to appreciate it. (FunkyMBTI)
