Out of all the mistypes I've seen on this website, the ENTJ votes for King Candy are by far the ones making me realize that people don't understand cognitive functions in relation to one another. For Turbo/King Candy, the “I must be the best” drive obviously fits into the definition of unhealthy Fi- identity obsession over pure logic. He is trying to be best- the adored, central, irreplaceable figure. ENFP-villain mode often looks like Ne inventing narratives (“here’s the new story where I’m on top”) with Fi making it personal and absolute (“I deserve this; I can’t be forgotten”). As it pertains to why his Fi ABSOLUTELY CANNOT be inferior: If King Candy/Turbo were an ENTJ with inferior Fi, you’d expect his “self” to be under-articulated and to show up mainly as a blind spot: buried values, touchy insecurity when a moral/identity nerve gets hit, and then either doubling down on efficiency/authority (Te) or having an occasional collapse where feelings spill out in an unprocessed way. Inferior Fi usually doesn’t look like someone constantly organizing reality around a personal identity narrative, which is what King Candy does throughout the entire movie. It’s more like “I’m doing what works; don’t ask me to bare my soul,” until the soul erupts at the worst time. King Candy, for lack of better words, is all about himself. He isn’t just chasing outcomes; he’s chasing being the adored, central figure who needs to be the best. He says it himself- "I'm Turbo, the greatest racer ever!" That is why he cannot be an ENTJ. ENTJ villainy tends to be system/control/structure first (Te–Ni: domination through order, hierarchy, mission), with identity as a secondary justification. King Candy's identity is the engine, and the strategy is the tool- more consistent with Fi being high (ENFP). Remember, Te doms are not usually in touch with their own emotions and the emotions of others- it takes a lot for them to understand how they feel about themselves in relation to others. That is not King Candy's problem. The man is a pure narcissist who is obsessed with himself, a pure manifestation of unhealthy Fi.
Biografia
King Candy (real name Turbo) is the main antagonist of Disney's 2012 animated feature film Wreck-It Ralph. He was the self-proclaimed ruler of Sugar Rush, a kart-racing video game set in a candy-themed kingdom. Originating from TurboTime, Turbo was once the most beloved character in the arcade, until his popularity was superseded by newer games. Mad with jealousy, Turbo sought to reclaim the spotlight by "game-jumping" into other games and taking them over, coining the term "going Turbo". He eventually gained control of Sugar Rush by reprogramming the world in his image and installing himself as sovereign, under the guise of a kindly king, usurping the throne from Vanellope von Schweetz, who is the true ruler of Sugar Rush.
