This man was written with an absurd amount of Ni-Fe, he consistently reads and analyzes people in episode 1. He doesn't use past experiences to dictate his arguments, while with the queen he uses the recession and potential public opinion to argue as to not refit the Britannia. He consistently allows people to speak in order to gather information. He doesn't even express some sort of personal opinion, he lets people such as Diana, Queen Elizabeth, and Charles speak their thoughts to him and uses their body language and opinions to harmonize with the conversation. He doesn't seem to have any Te considering how he internally digests data from his Ni-Fe usage. A great example of this is later on in the episode wherein he dissects the flaws of the royal family with his wife and predicts what may happen if the royal family were to continue in their current trajectory. Overall, he seems nothing alike the persona of the real John Major (who's believed to be ISTJ) due to the usage of his function stack. INFJ may be the best fit imo.
