I pretty much agree with the MBTI consensus: definite ISTJ. His dominant Si shows in his reliance on past experiences, detail-oriented nature, consistency, and uncomfortability with uncertainty. Auxiliary Te shows up in him valuing efficiency and competence, having a blunt communication style, and making decisions based on “common sense.” Him experiencing emotions intensely but bottling them up and his “skewed” sense of morality point to tertiary Fi. Lastly, overthinking “bizarre worst-case scenarios” and being scared when it comes to the unknown are classic examples of inferior Ne in action. I also very much agree with him being a Social Six (SO6). According to Ichazo, SO6’s (called “Duty”) respond to fear by seeking security in obedience, which is exactly what Cayto does. He clings to the guidelines and rules of whoever he is loyal to (in his case, his father and the anti-magic ideology of Cloudgate). He also has a 5 wing thanks to his introversion, intellect, and self-reliance. His full instinctual stack appears to be so/sp/sx, since he appears too phobic for the “danger-facing” SX6. Lastly, although I do agree that he has 1 and 3 fixes, I personally think his 1 fix is stronger than his 3 fix. He has a strong inner critic, moral rigidity, and perfectionistic work ethic. He has very high standards for himself and cannot tolerate “irresponsibility or overindulgence” either in himself or others, which is VERY reminiscent of E1.
