Personalità

"Che tipo di personalità è Idriss Aberkane? Idriss Aberkane è un tipo di personalità ENTP in mbti, 3w2 - sx/so - 358 in enneagram, RCOEI in big 5, in socionics."

"For neurology researcher Sebastian Dieguez, 'Free up your Mind' is 'an uninterrupted succession of isolated facts, of pointless detours, anecdotes and personal opinions, elementary mistakes, debunked 'theories', truisms, hyperboles and aphorisms, which do not make for good science education'." Idriss Aberkane is a compulsive liar working very hard to appear as a great French intellectual (the most admired job in France —in the US you can bet that he would have tried to be an entrepreneur —or in Iran, a mullah). He can't be anything else but a 3w4. He isn't working to have a "respectable" career as a real scientist of any sort, not even a "real" self-help author or science popularizer, but to APPEAR to have a tremendously fast-paced and impactful scientific and business career alike, for the sake of public image, and even at the cost of lying about his diplomas, academic positions, military service, philanthropic work in Africa, and everything else —something that any 5 would be absolutely terrified to even think of doing, less alone do, since a 5 is fondamentally kinda scared of being incompetent, incomplete and imprecise in his knowlegde, even when he's not. For the same "public image obsession" reason, Idriss Aberkane repeatedly tried to edit his own promotional Wikipedia page in an incredibly infatuated manner, going as far as creating several false Wikipedia profiles to filibuster any fact-checking: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion:Idriss_Aberkane#Confirmation https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion:Idriss_Aberkane#GAPPA_Africa_bloqu%C3%A9_ind%C3%A9finiment "In January 2018, the website Arrêt sur images reported a series of pressures against the authors of critical articles about Idriss Aberkane. The authors, publishers and hosts of said articles received a formal notice from the lawyer of Éditions Robert Laffont demanding the withdrawal and dereferencing of the articles." "Despite his three PhDs obtained between December 2013 and February 2016, on three different subjects ('geopolitics', 'comparative literature', and 'knowledge economy'), Idriss Aberkane had no scientific publications to his credit." "Three PhDs! This is enough to impress his small milieu... Except, of course, anyone who knows anything about the academic world... A university employer, noting that the three PhDs were obtained in less than three years, and knowing that a real PhD requires about 4 years of hard work in a laboratory, would have to wonder if these are not, perhaps, fraudulent ones." (https://menace-theoriste.fr/bullshittez-votre-cerveau-et-liberez-votre-bullshit-la-methode-aberkane-et-leffet-gourou-inverse/#_ftnref3) "According to the fact checking of Aberkane's entire CV, the serious game company "Scanderia" founded by Aberkane that describes itself as "the first company developing ergonomic games for the brain" has not produced a single game, and its website has been abandoned since August 2014. Furthermore, it is impossible to find any information about the activity of his agricultural microcredit company, Eirin International, which is only mentioned on web pages linked to Aberkane." (Wikipedia) "The scholar Romain Ligneul points out that in 'Libérez votre cerveau !', neurosciences occupy only a "rather limited" place, and that the book proposes a discourse comparable to that of a "personal development coach", mixing considerations on the most diverse subjects ("business, dating techniques, war, Sufi wisdom") with expressions such as "neurowisdom" or "neuromimetism". He also points out, in the passages that deal with neuroscience itself, several factual errors "that a good popularizer would not have made", and judges in fine that the book amounts to the "dissemination of superficial and sometimes false knowledge" and to a "shoddy expertise in fashionable fields"." (Wikipedia) He knows a lot of stuff because that's mandatory to be an intellectual, but he's actually famous for inexact facts and quotations, half-baked (or even less) ideas and fake "scientific truths". His lectures are a mix of funny "scientific" facts (too simplified or altered to be "true") and interesting Ne rambling for hours on. He jumps from idea to idea to maintain a high level of attention in his audience, and he's very good at it. He's extremely good at making people feel they're more intelligent when listening to him. He's quite funny, not afraid to use informal or vulgar words to shock and interest people during his lectures, and he's basically a very good motivator and self-help author, Tony Robbins-style, in a very traditional and apparently "respectable" French manner, which is absolutely perfect to fit the high standards social validation he seeks. If you can't spot a 3w4 when you see one, just check my reply to this thread.
