When my mother and I watched the show, she was so irritated by Paula but there was a part of me that really sympathized with her. In spite of her actions, her Ne and Fi were really something and you could tell how passionate she was about her art, it was those qualities that made me very fond of her. She wants to commit to a more stable lifestyle beyond the one she knows that's very sporadic and ever-changing, hence why she agreed to join Alex and Maddy in their trip before departing the very last second (inferior Si) But a part of her is always inclined to make up for the time lost when she was young and trying to live her most authentic self because the men she got involved with constantly robbed her of her liberation. She might've had her moments but she had so much potential, I just wanted to hug her so badly.
