Well he is a well developed Buddhist monk, so I think that’s going to round out the personality he grew up with and make it a bit more challenging to tell, but I believe he’s ENTP. He just seems to have the classic breadth of knowledge, and thinking-forward style of an ENTP. ENTPs are also famously one of the most common personalities of comedians, and I think his style also reflects that significantly (Mahayana, Hinayana, “HAHAyana”). There is a recurring theme for me in his reflections related to making choices, where his attitude is ultimately, “don’t worry too much, there are too many different outcomes to even consider”. He has useful things to say about making choices yes, but that seems to be a strong, recurring message. Although it is Buddhist wisdom in a sense, I hear it also coming straight from his personality, and NE is all about choices and possibilities.
