its easy to mix up so3 with so7 because both types have an image they want to project so im gonna explain the difference! so7 wants to be recognized as the morally superior. they take a burden bigger than themselves. so3 wants to be recognized as someone prestigeful though external standarts. so7 wants to be seen as a saint of a community while so3 wants to be the best in what they have. when a so7 changes their image its because they dont want to be needy or sacrificial for their desires. a so3 changes their image according to other peoples desires. so7 is focused on external morals while so3 is focused on peoples standarts for value. so3s have an ideal self that they strive to be. they want to be seen as good at everything, to have all the likeable qualities, and for people to admire them. they have a major saviour complex and because of it, theyre always trying to be understanding and help peoples problems before their own. they often feel as though theyre responsible for other people's problem, and due to them being more empathetic than those around them, they feel obligated to help. they want to be seen as good and exceptional at everything they do. their motivation behind this is that it makes feel validated and good about themselves when they act that way, and this might sound bad, but even feel superior to others. even though they try acting like a perfect person, the real them is someone who is more impulsive, selfish, and full of imperfections.
