Pretty sure this guy is an ENTP, where does he show any Fi ? because he's depressed he's family was killed ? because he's more artistic in nature ? i've read the two books and Kvothe seems way more of a thinker than a feeler, the way he faces situations is always based on his internal logic, in fact, i think there's more evidence of him showing Ti than Fi, the way he's so curious and is able to comprehend and break down new information of new concepts is why he's a fast learner, he's a jack of all trades because his brain is just wired to dive into problem solving since he was a kid by his time with the troupe and with Abenthy, he has an easy time understanding and exploring new concepts and ideas, the way he easily makes friends and manipulates people to get what he wants is pretty Ti+Fe to me by the fact he easily slips into another persona just to blend in or gain the trust of someone, his mind is constantly thinking what to do/say during conversations which to me looks more like Ne+Ti, he doesn't think so much about how situations make him feel, he spends more time planning or just talking to himself on his head about random things he remembers, haven't seen any arguments for Fi rather than "he's an ENFP pretending to be an ENTP", when in the beginning of the book he easily cracks down the Chronicler's fast writing technique that was pretty much codes he created for himself, and Kvothe easily cracks it down in a matter of seconds, which again, shows more Ti behaviour of thinking, breaking down concepts and reaching the core to understand how things work, which is also why he asked Abenthy 10.000 questions on their time together, he just wants to understand how things really work.
