"Cengiz Atayはどのような性格タイプですか? Cengiz Atayは、ENTP in MBTI、3w2 - sx/so - 378 in Enneagram、SCOEI in Big 5、EIE in socionics のパーソナリティタイプです。"
Cengiz, as despicable he gets through the series, is one of my favourite characters of Ezel. He is genuinely one of the greatest written characters in all of Turkish media, there is so much depth and detail to this character, and the actor portrayed everything so perfectly he literally became the character and made Cengiz feel so real in nearly every scene. With that said, I am a little confused on his enneagram. Don’t get me wrong, I know this show and most lines like the back of my hand from having rewatched it countless times since my childhood, but I’ve seen everything from Sp7, Sx4 and So3 in this guy. I could literally give reasonable arguments for each type and why it fits him… but for now I think the best typing for him would be So3w4 or perchance Sx3w4. *Emphasis* on his wing4. I understand the w2, but you have to remember the amount of envy he stresses about towards Ömer and Ezel. It haunts him from episode 1 to final. I think wing4 is enough rather than core because while most actions he did was out of envy + being alienated (“the neighbourhood’s black cat”), there is too much heavy emphasis on image, success, being a charismatic and selling talker (“Cengiz Atay, they said only one thing about you. They said, "Don't let him speak." Sekiz to Cengiz). His most introspective lines come only once he has failed or lost something important. The Sx3 is an interesting take because it could very well connect to his obsession with Eyşan and the boundaries and morals he crosses just to have her and make her love;desire;need him. It doesn’t make him a 2 though. “I tried, I tried. I tried to be a good husband, I tried to be a good father, I tried to be a law-abiding citizen who pays his taxes, I tried to trust my friend, I tried start everything over again. I tried. God knows I tried to be a different man. I tried to be good. But it’s not working. The more I try, the more everything slips away from me. The more I struggle, the harder everyone hits. I have to admit, goodness doesn’t suit me, friend. Now then give me a reminder, and I’ll handle the rest. Just like the old days… how did one become bad?” Cengiz to Serdar (yuck). ^ If this isn’t the most 3w4 quote ever then idk what is. I remember there was a scene in one of the very early episodes where he brings up good vs bad with Eyşan too. That it was, people like Cengiz and Eyşan, in their nature to be a bad person. That picking the bright side or the dark side didn’t matter, because they always end up in the bad and dark side again. I would love to hear about potential core 4 arguments if there is still someone here in this old, dust-collecting attic of profile….. I love the idea of him being core 4 actually since I really like characters that have it plus myself having a 4 fix. But yeah so3 seems fair enough… though sx3 too…. oh hadi be ;-;
