Don't confuse Peter with his brother. Sure, he has clear Te-bluntness to him, but I think he's far more of a Si-user. Not sure if it's his main or secondary yet. He really prizes a strong justice system along with Orthodox views that even verges on a Ben Shapiro 'facts don't care about your feelings' sentiment. This isn't to say all Si-users are conservative, but I think he shows a clear preference for it.
