There's literally a strip about Calvin being an Intuitive and Hobbes being a Sensor: Calvin: Why do you suppose we're here? Hobbes: Because we walked here. Calvin: No, no, I mean here on Earth. Hobbes: Because Earth can support life. Calvin: No I mean why are we anywhere? Why do we exist? Hobbes: Because we were born. Calvin: Forget it. Hobbes: I will, thank you. They are almost having two different convos. Calvin is talking existential and philosophical, the abstract meaning of life, but Hobbes is literal, sensory. He does things by experience. Intuitives tend to be clumsier, and unless Hobbes is dizzy, that's not him-- have you seen how he pounces on Calvin when Calvin hollers, "I'M HOME!"? And to be fair, ISFPs tend to have a fair amount of Intuition, thanks to Tert Ni, so he still has a bit of a philosophical side. In short, this is one of the main differences between NPs and SPs. :)

Calvin's stuffed tiger doll... Or maybe his Not-So-Imaginary Friend. Watterson said that the question didn't concern him. Named after Thomas Hobbes, he's usually seen through Calvin's eyes as an actual tiger while everyone else sees a doll. He's a proud tiger nonetheless and ultimately Calvin's best friend.
