Soar the Eagle is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom series. He is an anthropomorphic eagle, and a television personality who runs a business as a motivational speaker and life coach. Aided by the Walrus Camera Man, he also serves as the local news journalist and anchorbird for the television network on Seaside Island. Soar is confident, charming, encouraging and awe-inspiring, driving others to be the best they can be by following his motto "soar like an eagle". He is a hard worker and always faces his assignments to the best of his abilities. However, he is far from overconfident and stays realistic before idealistic. He also keeps a clear and rational view on the tasks ahead of him and understands the consequences of the wrong choices. That said, he is not above talking radical approaches to help his clients, like leaving the aquaphobic Sonic stranded in the sea so he could conquer his fear. Also, while he comes off as helpful during his seminars, it is only because that is what his job obligates him to do; when he is off-duty or when his job does not require him to be sympathetic, he tends to disregard peoples' issues entirely.
