William Faulkner is a GENIUS. He is a master of understanding human philosophy and illustrating the human condition and how miserable humans are and the reasons why; while also demonstrating the beauty and awesomeness of people. Faulkner wrote novels, short stories, a play, poetry, essays, and screenplays. He is primarily known for his novels and short stories set in the fictional Yoknapatawpha County, based on Lafayette County, Mississippi, where he spent most of his life.
