ESFJ makes more sense than ENFJ The whole “We just wanna help” thing is passive Ne/Si thinking. An ENFJ character would use Fe to get everybody oriented towards a single Ni vision. But “We” simply let’s the survivors be (for the time being) instead of constantly trying to persuade them. You can tell because when “we” talks to Carol about what it’s doing, it acts like this is “normal” and the “way it should be/has always been”, instead of a radical new framing like an Ni user would. It’s just doing what it thinks is normal Granted they do have the end goal of assimilating everyone in the end, but SJs also can have goals. Unlike an NJ, “we” relies on mechanistical means and is driven by the hard coded programming of the RNA sequence. It does things one step at a time according to simple rules, instead of doing whatever it takes to race towards the next goal as fast as possible like an NJ. It only sped up and accepted casualties when it was forced to. An NJ would not have cared to do it this slowly and carefully first
