It's interesting how IxFPs can show the importance of Fi when they're protagonists. Fi tends to get a bad rep, but it protects against groupthink ethics, and the opening of Spirited Away is a perfect example of this. Chihiro's parents, both Fe-users, partake in the presented food. Meanwhile, Chihiro stands in opposition. She intuits (Ne) something is off and relies on her moral Fi to stand her ground. While she comes off as whiny and petulant, she ends up being right. However, Chihiro's Fi-burden is that she must learn to shape her morals to include a value for others and hard work; let her aux-Ne perceive more of the world around her and the people in it, thus allowing herself to adapt and change. I see some comments saying that she's an ENFP due to her inability to remember, but I'm afraid I have to disagree. The spirit world causes one to forget, especially one's name, and Chihiro remembers quite a bit, despite these universe rules. If anything, it indicates Chihiro's Si is in a tertiary position as opposed to an inferior.
