Ryan Price is a retired enforcer and defenceman with multiple teams across the fictional NHL. He is the protagonist of Tough Guy, the third book in the Game Changers series, which follows his transfer to the Toronto Guardians, struggles with anxiety, pain medication dependency, and romance with musician and childhood flame, Fabian Salah. Following Tough Guy, a retired Ryan tours with his boyfriend and is one of the coaches at the Game Changers Hockey Camp. Ryan is also one of the few people aware of the secret relationship between Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov before The Long Game.
