I could see him being 6 instead of 8, he has a strong 8 fix but mainly i believe his a 6. ever since he showed distrust toward clem, his whole point was to make sure everyone including himself would be safe, mitch believed the groupe would be in danger if she kept sticking around, he didn't trust her ability to tame AJ and get him under control. also he never stepped up and took charge of the school after martin died even tho he was the strong voice that voted to kick clementine and AJ out I think he would be more likely to do that if he was 8.
