個性

"Warren Buffettはどのような性格タイプですか? Warren Buffettは、ISTJ in MBTI、1w9 - sp/sx - 136 in Enneagram、RLOEN in Big 5、LSE in socionics のパーソナリティタイプです。"

Oh yes! He is a true ISTJ. Si => Very Si oriented, because he chooses companies that he is dealing with on the daily lives, "sensing them". Like Mac Donalds, Heinz, Coke, Financial ones. Instead of stocks that is too far from his domain, like technology stocks. It took him decades to choose Apple and I believe it was due to Charles Munger's advices or some people that he admittedly told that he hired to that job. It is not usual for Warren Buffet to choose stocks that are outside of his domain. To finalize, Charlie Munger said in an interview that the reason of Buffet's greatest success is: "Buffet looks what he did wrong on the past and avoid it". Si DOM. Te => A strong Te is what makes Warren Buffet go against the herd. He prefers to choose companies that is already working now through external evidences instead of believing in an unlikely optimistic future. He chooses to be a partner of companies that are already healthy instead of these ones that "everyone" is buying because of subjective criterias. He looks at the hard facts and objective evidences, not subjectivisms. This behavior makes him escape bubbles like the Internet Bubble of 2000s and I tend to follow the same on my investments. Te for the win. Fi => He really has passion for what he is doing! It doesn't show too much because it is overshadowed by Si-Te, but Fi is really there underneath. Ne => His least developed cognitive function, because he really struggles in having new ideas, going outside of his domain. He prefers to avoid that. However, on the investment world it is good to maintain on the same strategy for decades. The market pays back. This is one of the reasons he is the biggest investor of all time. To finalize, let's check that video: https://youtu.be/VPva2_zNwOY?t=2121 At 35:19... "Warren succeeds because he's brutal in evaluating his own story. He wants to spot mistakes and avoid them in the future." ~ Charlie Munger about Warren Buffet His attachment to what worked / not worked for him on the past (Si) plus his desire to avoid the novelty, avoid the different perspectives of investments, avoid the potentials of unorthodox ideas, showcases both his Si dominance and Ne repression. His aversion to Bitcoins and Cryptocurrencies is a good example of that.
