Alessa, the heart and driving force behind why Silent Hill is what it is. An extremely important character to the series and in desperate need of this page is explanation of her enneagram. She deserves it for being such a key character to an amazing franchise. Well, first four games anyway. She fits the sp 4 perfectly. The self-preservation 4 is what we call the "suffered", one that swallows their pain and has learned to endure it. Obviously if you played 1/3/Origins, you know she has suffered a brutal long 7 years of abuse. She completely withdrew and resigned to her fate, knowing deep down that nobody will take care of her and confides in herself to do it instead. Alessa internalized her suffering and felt all of her emotions inside. A way you could learn about this is through her diary. She sought to persevere through it and protect her dream, which was to be accepted and loved. She eventually found peace with this ideal of hers, as her soul reincarnated into Heather. Since Alessa is technically a part of Heather, Harry then raised Heather with love and nurture, effectively ending Alessa's torment and fulfilling her ultimate wish. Her story was all about having inner strength and tenacity despite of all the horrible and devious people around her. She shows an enormous amount of willpower and kept all the pain inside, rather than expressing it. Her envy is never shown outward, so social and sexual four is out of the question. Her envy is instead used to conserve herself, handle all the suffering to protect her dream of the future; she succeeded in this in the ending of SH1. She wanted to be loved and do normal things that the other children would do, believing she is missing something that others had. 4 is all about self-frustration and hunger of love that is translated into envy and focused on suffering. SP 4 is the countertype for envy, so I can't stress this enough how much this all fits Alessa's character and motivations.
