fgs what is it with people giving a Ne function to every quirky characters,, ISFPs often get paid dust on here, I’m glad ISFP votes largely caught up to the INFP ones now! Regarding Michael in the bathroom, it’s not Michael imagining situations; on the contrary, it’s Michael being in a Te grip and starting to doubt everything he believes in, and going through a realisation that maybe being weird isn’t cool. ‘He’s a loner, so he must be a stoner, god he’s such a loser...’ etc, he suddenly becomes very aware of the way people must see him, in a way that’s very factual. I’ve seen people say also that he’s spacing out a lot, etc. No, just compare him to Jeremy right next to him, who’s a INTP and does space out a lot dreaming about what it would be like to be cool, or about Christine! Michael is always the one either pulling him back into the present, or indulging in his fantasies like a good friend. It’s not because he’s ISFP that he is incapable of projecting himself into the future and dreaming too. It’s just not his favourite way of doing things, but ISFPs also have a very active imagination. Also, this dude went through physically getting Crystal Pepsi from someone just because he thought it was cool lol.... I’m not stating it as the ultimate proof he’s ISFP, but rather just an example to illustrate my thoughts; even though ISFPs like to daydream and use their imagination as well, the difference with INFPs is usually that to them, it needs to end up having use in the real world, materialising into something tangible. They have Ni unlike INFPs and don’t feel the need to think things through as much, following their instincts more at time and being faster to jump to action.
