Okay, I shouldn't type him solely based on his lyrics and art (at least it's usually something I myself take with a grain of salt), let alone imply too much about a personal situation of his using my personal experiences as "source", but regarding how self-expressive Will's lyrics are, I wanna say I've observed something interesting I'd like to share. I may not be right or this might sound unreliable and Will's mental health makes it very... hard to draw a conclusion, but I will try. I've noticed that a lot of what he'd written (as well as what he'd written about) really reminds me of e5's defense mechanisms and emotional habits. Compartmentalizing emotions, being extremely reserved when it comes to them and logically analyzing them as well as ignoring interpersonal elements and needs are what 5s do for the sake of maintaining independence and feeling competent. It's baffling how reported hindrances in his relationships fit these things. I can relate to what's been shown about some aspects of his relationship(s) and according to Will, it really seems like the main issues come from him minimizing his and the person's needs and not often expressing how he feels about situations. I can see some emptiness and feelings of apathy and distrust as well, present in unhealthy 5s. "I am not allowed to have feelings Feelings would complicate this I'm a stupid ugly stuttering ******* There is no dignity in my anger [...] I am not the type of man Who can fall asleep in someone else's hands [...] Sometimes I love you But it's hard to say There are times when I don't love I can't love anything in this world" "I co-write my songs with myself He feels the feelings I write the words I co-write my songs with myself He feels the feelings I write the words" It's weird to see a 4 feeling so repulsive towards and even afraid of their emotions. "The Ending of Dramamine" is also a song about self-deprivation, bodily pain, selfishness and feeling guilty about such emotional emptiness and withdrawal from people, and a drunk man running over someone else is used as a metaphor. "Occupying space I know I take up space Will there be a space For my soul in space? That's heaven to me" 5s inherently feel that the world lacks resources and that they have too little to give as well, so they retreat mentally and withhold, often detaching themselves emotionally and neglecting physical needs. That's why they often focus on existentialist topics. Will's still very introspective and has a very autobiographical art as 4s often do, but I just wanted to share this. I'd love if anyone had more info about him that could contribute to his Enneagram typing
