バイオグラフィー
Ke Huy Quan aka Jonathan Ke Quan (born August 20, 1971 in Saigon, nowadays' Ho Chi Minh City) is a Vietnamese-born American actor and stunt choreographer. After his family fled Vietnam as refugees following the end of The Vietnam War, he became a successful child actor in the 1980s, playing Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Data in The Goonies. Following several roles in the 1990s, Quan retired from acting in the early 2000s due to the lack of roles for Asian actors in Hollywood, working as a stunt choreographer for X-Men and an assistant director for The One and 2046. However, Quan returned to acting in 2019, being inspired to do so following the success of Crazy Rich Asians. His career experienced a major resurgence because of his widely acclaimed performance in 2022's Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which he won multiple awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
