with the more recent chapters, i've changed my mind to ESTJ. i think that the way he talks about his duty to the sazanamis as the patriarch is rooted in si, while his testing of chihiro (i.e. leaving crumbs for chihiro to discover with the subspace door) & the way he planned for the rakuzaichi to go is rooted in ne. also, i don't mean that "following traditions" is si. that's not why i'm saying i think he's actually an ESTJ. it's that the way he talks about his duty as the patriarch, the way he views being a father, & the way he talks about his duty to the rakuzaichi seems to be rooted in his subjective impression of them. he puts too much value on those impressions - even the way he views his own children & the merchandise for the rakuzaichi seems to be tied to his impressions as well. i haven't seen anything to really truly indicate that he's synthesizing holistic views, or that he's utilizing concrete reality to put into those holistic views. i'm seeing more indication that he's paying attention to different potentials and basing his views off of his impressions.
