I'm not sure why Daisuke is automatically getting voted ESFP because he's upbeat and pleasure-seeking. From the very first scene that we meet Daisuke we see his over the top optimism and naivety; even in a situation where everyone knows the entire crew is doomed. Daisuke is young, but he is not stupid. He knows they're doomed and likely going to die here without rescue. But he doesn't acknowledge the reality of the situation they're in. Instead he talks about going home, what he's going to say when he sees her again, his dreams for the future. In a scenario an SEE would attempt to optimistically find a way out of ("guys we can work together to do this! i know it seems dire but we need to work together to survive!"), Daisuke (an IEE) instead doesn't acknowledge their circumstances or surroundings at all. He instead focuses on romanticized ideals and on things that are most likely never going to happen. Daisuke doesn't acknowledge the reality of their situation until Anya is dead and he is gravely injured, because at that point not even he can have hope for their future.
