People who know nothing of the nature of Elves (have no deeper knowledge in Tolkien's Legendarium) and how that influences Elven cognition+behvaiour ... please, do the research first, then type fictional characters - especially those created by Tolkien. Also, please, study cognitive functions and their dynamics, and how certain events (especially negative ones) shape the behaviour/cognition. That way we can come to the best conclusion. (I am aware that movie characters differ from those in Tolkiens literature - in the case of Thranduil, I do see prominent Si, yes, but I only see it as a highly triggered function in him, that gets in the way consistently due to vast, difficult, deep life experiences and due to his given origin of being a Sindar noble in origin. The most fitting personality type is XNTJ. I also speak from personal experience and observations on how Si manifests in Ni doms)
