there is such a Fe grip at the beginning. meg struggles to appeal to people emotionally, so she wallows in self pity and loses her focus on Ti, caring way too much about what others think of her. she sees herself herself as a hideous monster that pushes people away and she cant think of any good qualities she has. “Usually no matter what happens people think it’s my fault, even if I have nothing to do with it at all." she doesnt understand why shes seen this way and she craves external validation. she distances herself from emotion and yet she is extremely emotional- funny how Fe grip works. at first it looks like Fi, but none of her feelings stem from a sense of subjective personal values, but from not fitting in with the objective emotional atmosphere. idk how l'engle managed to capture Fe grip so colorfully but it was lovely watching meg get out of it.
