It's said that Al jahiz was in his writings focusing on the meaning over the beauty ofcthe word itself, he focused on the inside of the people, why do people steal, what happens to hungry one if not find food and so on, he in his writings was trying to satisfy all sorts of people with a mix of easy and hard words as well as making jokes , he didn't hate the stingy people and liked generous people too. He was also known in keep changing between subjects and start a new subject without finishing the one before. He was nice to talk to and people loved him, he enjoyed art and music and watching the society well. I see myself a lot in him, he seems like a big ENFP for me !

He described himself as a member of the Arabian tribe Banu Kinanah.
