He was Te Fi middle axis and had PolR Fe, but I'd say Ni dom because of: 1. His long term vision about Kyokushin (regarding both the form of the style and it's impact around the world) 2. He came up with a lot of metaphors and abstractions to explain the techniques and the strong philosophy behind Kyokushin. He had awards in no contact Karate and he threw everything away to create a style of fighting based on his own vision of what Martial Arts should look like. Then he went up to Mountain Kiyosumi solitary and created the foundation of Kyokushin during 14 months. Good example of strong Ni focus for a great ideal. Just because Karate in itself is ISTJ, it doesn't mean Sosai Oyama is one as well.
