It’s not revenge ISTP 8w9 sp/sx 864’s looking for. It’s justice. MBTI - Ti-Se-Ni-Fe —> Ti-Fe: I feel that Depth Charge most likely felt that “everything must be logical”, so much to the extent that he would “struggle with a rule or regulation in place” if it it was “not logical”, having been “cynical as a result”. — In “Deep Metal” (S3-E2)— I could be forcing the logic of the following example to make it work for my argument, but maybe Depth Charge felt it was only logical for his sole mission and priority to be the extermination of Rampage— he disregarded Maximal regulations as he felt he already knew the risks and was prepared. —> Ti-Se: I feel that Depth Charge was more interested in developing his “hand-on” knowledge, having been more inclined towards “learning something practical and tangible”, needing to identity “real life value”. — In “Feral Scream: Part 1” (S3-E5), I feel that Depth Charge most likely tangibly saw that the Transmetal driver device that Megatron used was more danger than it was worth, such as in the creation of the Dinobot II and having, what he thought, cost Cheetor’s life, so he opted to destroy it as the logical thing to do. —> Ti-Ni: I feel that Depth Charge was possibly “overly concerned or afraid of the future”, possibly becoming “overly pessimistic” and even “frozen in the present”. — I could be forcing the relevance of the following example from “Go with the Flow” (S3-E8), but in the aftermath following the destruction of the Predacons’ energy weapon’s destruction, Depth Charge considered going back to scrap the Predacons themselves; I almost wonder if this was based in a need to eliminate a problem before it got worse for Depth Charge. ENNEAGRAM - 8w9 sp/sx 864 —> Type 8: I feel that Depth Charge possessed an “inner soft spot” that made “rage him into a protective soldier”, having enjoyed a “battle to fight”, “compelled to be the executioner to the enemy”. — In “Changing of the Guard” (S3-E3), I feel that Depth Charge demonstrated a vehement focus on exacting his reven— er, “justice” on Rampage for having taken advantage of the vulnerability of the Colony Omicron, which was under Depth Charge’s own protection. —> Wing 9: I feel that Depth Charge was more inclined to “‘endure’ and then attack rather than throw the first punch”, having “steadily [brought]” others “down”. — In “Feral Scream: Part 2”, Optimus Primal had to get to the point of threatening to pull the information on what had happened to Cheetor from Depth Charge’s processor that eventually brought the fish-bot himself to come clean— it was a a reserved form of resistance. —> sp/sx: I know that Depth Charge’s singular obsessiveness might be indicative of the Sexual Instinct’s presence, but I feel that his Self-Preservation Instinct was dominant, especially in terms of “practicality and resources”. — In “Nemesis: Part 1” (S3-E12), in his fierce final clash with Rampage, Depth Charge quickly adapted to the resources that that were available to him in order to know how to practically take out Rampage, such as making use of the Energon crystal to take out X himself. Thanks.
