To me he is INTJ. Master at making other people a fool (Ni) but also has a moral compass that is developed through his experience which is the goal of his own existence (Fi) plus awareness of his surroundings (Se) like how he catches his wife stalking him even though not a wife until now in his context. Does not believe his wife's dream-based prediction approach because he is an objective thinker (Te) he knows she is lying but still trusts her because he likes her (Ni-Fi). He also cares about other people like that kid because he himself been through something similar at that age (Fi). His whole approach to dealing with criminals is Te based. P.S: never saw him as an ENTP, but I did think he related to INTPs.
