i know this page is dead but i've been thinking aphelios might actually be a social 6 instead of a 1.. let me explain while it's true that aphelios is a difficult character to comprehend due to him being mute, i can't see the same perfectionism or self-criticism that 1s usually have, especially since their compulsive perfectionism is caused by the fact that they believe themselves to be fundamentally flawed. the only time you see this in is lore is when he's described to train until he quite literally wears himself out. when he got separated from alune as she was undergoing training as a seer, aphelios desperately needed to find something else to find safety in, as alune was the only person he could trust. he follows the lunari's orders because that's all he has ever known. this is from his lore: "they [...] embraced darkness not just out of belief, but as the only thing that could keep them safe." aphelios follows very precise rules. he goes on dangerous missions for the lunari because he's serving a "worthy cause". he's rational, dutiful, but not like a 1: he is this way because he pledged loyalty to the lunari ever since he was born, & then never questioned it. he's very aware of what is expected of him, because the lunari literally need him & trust him completely. please let me know if you don't agree!
