I used to think he was INFP, but I saw a YouTube video recently by someone who’s INFJ explaining why INFJ’s tend to have failed romantic relationships and the reasons he described were spot on to what troubles Locke’s relationship with Helen (he explained that INFJ’s can tend to turn a person into a concept and not respect / give room to their individuality; see: Season 2 era flashbacks for Locke, “Orientation” and “Lockedown”).
