The daughter of Senator Mon Mothma and her husband Perrin Fertha, Leida spends much of her time on Coruscant, but resents her mother's focus on her political career. Instead, Leida prefers the simplicity of Chandrilan customs, a surprise to her mother who regards many of the traditions as outdated in modern times.
