I am not going to pretend I know much about this one but until someone gives a strong argument otherwise, I am claiming her as ISFP based on my vibe... someone on Goodreads explained the problem with her writing very well, years ago. "the dystopian world is an edgy backdrop for the teenage soap opera". The focus of her writing is just... smut and drama. She had an AMAZING world concept with Divergent but she didn't build it up at all. She was too fixated on the erotic drama between the characters, who were not even interesting because the whole reason people read dystopias is bc they wanna see a built up world, not read discount smut. seriously a smutty fanfic from your favorite RPG is time better spent than reading Divergent. it does the same thing she was trying to do but better. When I read Divergent I was so disappointed. I felt so much wasted potential seeing such a cool concept go to waste on this drama fest. But I also see my own weaknesses as a writer in her. ISFPs are all about the individual characters and their emotions and painting an erotic, exciting picture (Fi-Se). We are a very solipsistic type. We can get so lost in the smut and the characters we forget to make them relevant... we forget to write a story that actually makes sense and build a world outside of the characters we're interested in... (low Ni). The world we do build, and the symbolic meaning we give to our story, is very minimal until we are developed. I could also see her as ESFP purely from her writing. Honestly I might go and claim Stephanie Meyer after this too. ...also why 9? Cuz I'd love to claim her with enneagram too but I am not gonna say anything abt her enneatype. I don't have any ideas about what her core emotional wounds and fixations and chakra focus areas are. I definitely see ISFP functional stack in her writing tho.
