No way. ISTP. She leads in Ti and that’s clear from the jump. Her frustration comes with people being illogical and nonsensical in the face of reality. That’s Ti/Fe “you’re not behaving properly” (Fe) and it “doesn’t make sense” (Ti). There’s no mention of morality or “this is wrong” Fi-bent on any of her arguments. Even when she finds out they were charged for free drinks, she just asks why and is bewildered by it, rather than morally offended. Ti, again. I don’t see Fi at all. Having emotion doesn’t make someone a feeler. Explosive emotion actually indicates low feeling. Her going off on the talk show is typical of an ISTP or INTP when pushed too far. It’s because of their inferior Fe. When under stress they explode, it’s OUTWARD and it’s directed at others. Fe is an expressive function and it reacts to its environment/people around them. Fi is much less emotive - and when stressed, Fi users get withdrawn and absorbed in their own world. The function is self-focused, not preachy. That’s Fe. Aggravating to see yet another female character with OBVIOUS thinking preference be labeled a feeler because they have (1) emotion. Sexism is literally what the movie was commenting on, by making the whole world pigeonhole her as irrational and crazy while Leo repeated the benefits of his position by virtue of being male. I loved Leo’s character too. Also don’t think he’s an INFJ. He seems like a solid INTP to me. Too self conscious and uncomfortable using Fe. He’s aware of it in the same way INTPs are aware of their Fe and the fact that they lack it. INFJs might not be comfortable being social, but they have a solid grip of Fe. Mindy just flounders.
